2nd day of twistout, fluffy from humidity, but still a lot of definition (the original twists were done wet, but I was still quite surprised because I hadn't used anything with much hold).

PS: If I am to complete this challenge with any semblance of success, someone really has to teach me how to take pictures of my hair. I've tried on camera, phone, laptop. All nonsense. I can never get the angles right and nothing really captures what the hair really looks like. Any tips would be most welcome!

ReplyDeleteI think your hair picture taking skills are not so bad (you get really good angles) but you might want to invest in a better camera. I had the same problem with not capturing what my hair looked like in pictures but once I started using a better camera, it made a huge difference.
I actually have a good camera, but never like the pics I get on there (of my hair) so always switch to phone or laptop. Maybe I just have unphotogenic hair. Lol! Miss FIzz takes some great pics on her phone!

haha... if you use a camera then put it on a self timer, i know you don't have a tripod so just place it on a stack of books or cartons then step back & strike a pose. always try to take you pics close to a window so you take advantage of the natural light.....lovely hair

DeleteHey Nibi, great photos are about lighting. Flash lighting flattens the dark hair, so you can't appreciate the hills and valleys. Natural light is best, and preferably not too bright so use a filter (taking photos outdoors on a cloudy day can be pretty awesome - take advantage of our rainy season!). Your hair is wonderful and this style rocks!
